Canadian Pay & Payroll Calculators 2026

See what reaches your account from a salary or one pay cheque anywhere in Canada outside Quebec, using the CRA's 2026 payroll deductions formulas (T4127), the method behind its own calculator and tables.

FAQs

Which tax year do the Canadian calculators use?

The 2026 tax year, 1 January to 31 December 2026. Rates come from the CRA's T4127 Payroll Deductions Formulas (January and July 2026 editions) and its 2026 tax-brackets page, each listed with the date we read it.

Why is Quebec missing?

Quebec runs its own income tax, pension plan (QPP) and parental insurance (QPIP) through Revenu Québec, whose pages could not be read when these calculators were built. CPP and EI pages note the Quebec figures; a Quebec income tax calculator will follow once its rules can be sourced.

Do the results match the CRA's Payroll Deductions Online Calculator?

The payroll deductions calculator uses the same Option 1 formulas and our tests match the CRA's T4032 tables to within 5 cents. The income tax calculators give the tax for the whole year on employment income, which is what a return would show for an employee with no other income or credits.

Is what I type stored?

No. Every calculation runs in your browser and nothing you enter is sent to a server.
