Frequently asked questions

What is pensionable salary?

The average basic + DA of the 60 months before exit, capped at ₹25,000 from 17 September 2026 (₹15,000 before) unless you contribute on higher wages. Months before that date count at the old cap.

What is the 2-year weightage?

Members with 20 or more years of service get 2 extra years added to pensionable service.

Can I take EPS pension before 58?

Yes, from 50, but the pension is reduced (this calculator applies 4% per year short of 58). Deferring to 59 or 60 increases it.
